Interesting point that pictures could get lost in a special category, i also recognized that detail shot have a hard life although i like them very much!

I agree with the argument that it is nice to have the detail shot next to the total view of a place in one section. But the srcreening does not show the photos as connected, and later on, when you can upload just a single photo, it is even more difficult.
With an own section, I guess detail shots as mine would get a better reputation along with all your glorius and spectacular total views for which I don't have that much feeling as you have.

I keep this in mind.
I'll be too busy starting next week to make quick changes so I prefer to concentrate on what we have now and optimize/correct some minor stuffs.

Maybe, we all should upload some more detail-pictures than we used to. Nearly everybody here wrote, how much he / she likes detailphotography. Makes it easier to promote photos of that kind. I´ll work on it

I totaly agree with Olaf - we all should bring more detail pics in here - despite that they often are not noticed in other forums - lets change that here! I will upload a detail richt now

@ Irina: But you take the risk, that people who aren't into details don't even look at this category...
