HDR software 5 Months ago

Hello lads,
I'm using Photmatix pro at the moment but i'm wondering if there is better software available. the main editing program i'm using is Aperture 3 for Mac. It has a HDR plugin but this is a bit cheap (no offense).
Thanks!

sorry for the late answer.
Photomatix is the king for me. It allows a lot of tweaking and you can achieve from realistics to completely surreal results with this tool.
Heard that photoshop cs5 had a new HDR module implemented but didn't had the chance to test it. Did anyone played with cs5 yet?

I tried the HDR tonemapping in CS5 but it does not seems really good, but I use it for the merging and then I do the tonemapping in Photomatix.
