hints for a nodal point adapter 10 Months, 4 Weeks ago
Since some time I'm looking for a nodal point adapter which has an acceptable handling/quality but also is not so expensive, has anyone experiences with theses and can share some suggestions?
Also a good plan how to build one myself would be great

Thanks Sven

Hi Sven,

It is for panorama isn't it ?

A pentax user on a forum i used to go is very happy with this one :
Panasaurus

With a few test, it done that result :
panorama

And he says it not so expansive !

you're welcome Sven !

Since your demand, He post 2 more panorama made with the Panasaurus and a Pentax K10d :
Panorama1
Panorama2

He seems to be happy with it !

Hi Sven,

I have used the "Panausorus" head but I changed for a nodal ninja 3 which is much more sturdy and precise and not so expensive (especially with the $/€ ratio) considering the superb build quality. Example (Slight crop from three vertical shots merged with "panorama factory").
Be careful, if you use a "big camera" like canon 5D, Panausorus is definitely not a good choice and you should look at nodal ninja 5.
